Terms of Service

Comik is a platform where creators publish comics — including works made with AI tools — and readers read them. The content on Comik is posted by its users; we host, display, and curate it.

• You're responsible for your account and anything done with it — keep your password safe.
• Provide accurate information and don't impersonate other people or brands.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use Comik.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms.

Creators keep full ownership of everything they publish on Comik. By uploading, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute your content within the Comik service — that's the legal permission we need to actually show your comic to readers, nothing more. Delete your content and the license ends (short-lived cached copies may persist briefly).

By publishing, you promise you have the rights to the work you upload. That includes AI-assisted work — you're responsible for making sure your process and output don't infringe someone else's rights.

Don't publish or do any of the following:

• Content that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, or other rights — including reposting other people's comics.
• Sexual content involving minors, or content that sexualizes minors, in any form. Zero tolerance; immediate ban and reporting where required by law.
• Illegal content, or content that promotes violence or hatred against people or groups.
• Harassment, threats, or targeted abuse of other users.
• Spam, scraping, artificial inflation of views/bookmarks, or anything that abuses or disrupts the service.

If you believe content on Comik infringes your copyright, email contact@comik.app with: a link to the content, a description of the original work, proof you own it (or represent the owner), and your contact information. We review promptly, remove infringing content, and terminate repeat infringers.

Featuring is editorial — we choose what to highlight, and placement isn't guaranteed or for sale. We may remove content or restrict accounts that violate these terms, at our discretion, with or without notice.

Comik is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee uptime, that content will be preserved forever, or that the service will be error-free — keep your own backups of your work. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Comik and its operators aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for content posted by users.

We may update these terms as Comik evolves. The date at the top reflects the latest version, and continuing to use Comik after a change means you accept it. For significant changes we'll make the update visible.
